Questions
Questions we hear most
Shaping, tint or lamination: which do I need?
Shaping sets the line and removes the hair outside it. Tint deepens the color of the hair you have. Lamination brushes the hairs up and sets them. Many clients combine two. Book a map and shape for a first visit and your artist will talk it through.
What happens at a first visit?
We start at the mirror: your artist looks at the hair you have, measures the brow against your face and draws the line before she touches a hair. Then she shapes to it, and tint or lamination follows if you chose it.
How often should I come back?
Most clients book a shape every four weeks, a tint every four to six, and lamination every six to eight. Every brow follows its own schedule, so your artist will suggest a rhythm after your first visit.
What happens if I'm running late?
We hold your chair for 10 minutes. After that the visit is shortened, not extended, because the next client is booked. A short visit is still a visit, and the deposit is not returned for the time you missed.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes, before a first tint or lamination, at least 48 hours ahead. It shows how your skin responds. It helps, but it can't predict every reaction, so tell us about allergies, eczema or sensitive skin around the brow.
What if I react?
Reactions can happen. If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, tell us and call your doctor, and go to urgent care if it is severe. Your artist stops a service whenever you ask.
Can I wear brow makeup or brow gel in?
Come with the brows as they are if you can, and a clean face. If you arrive in makeup we will take it off first, and that uses a little of your visit.
Can I bring a guest or a child?
Visits are for the client. A friend is welcome to wait in the front room. Tint and lamination are for clients 18 and over.
How do deposits work?
A deposit holds your chair and goes toward your service. The menu marks every service that takes one, and the booking page shows it before you pay. If you cancel with 24 hours' notice, the deposit moves to your next visit.
How does this fit with threading or waxing?
Shaping is where they meet. Your artist chooses tweezers, thread or wax for the hair around your brow line, or follows your preference. You can book any of the three on their own.
How does a membership work?
You pick the visit you repeat and the rhythm. We book the visits ahead, at the hour you choose, and you can pause or leave with a week's notice. Visits you move with 24 hours' notice are held for later.
How do I buy a gift card?
Gift cards come in any amount and work with any artist for any technique. Use the gift card link in the footer, and the booking page shows how to use one.
