Our policies

What we ask of every client, in one place, before you pay a deposit.

Booking and deposits

A deposit holds your chair and goes toward your service. Every service takes one, and the menu marks each with a Deposit to book chip. Choose a technique and a time on the booking page, and we confirm by text or email. A membership's first visit is booked the same way.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit, and your deposit moves with you. With less notice the deposit stays with the studio. If you are running late, we hold your chair for 10 minutes. After that the visit is shortened, not extended, because the next client is booked.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a visit without a word, the deposit stays with the studio and we hold your next visit only with prepayment. If something comes up at work, a text is all it takes.

Children and companions

Visits are for the client. Tint and lamination are for clients 18 and over; a shape for a younger client is booked by a parent or guardian, who stays for the visit. A friend or a colleague is welcome to wait in the front room.

Patch tests and allergies

We ask for a patch test at least 48 hours before a first tint or lamination. It shows how your skin responds. It helps, but it can't predict every reaction, so tell us about allergies, eczema, sensitive skin near the brow and any reaction to hair dye. If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, tell us and call your doctor or go to urgent care.

Redos and refunds

If something isn't right, tell us within a week. Your artist will look at your brows and say what she can do. Services aren't refunded, but a concern always gets a conversation first.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. Add one when you pay at the end of your visit, and it goes to the artist who did your brows.

Before your visit

Come with a clean face and no brow makeup if you can. Skip retinoids and exfoliating acids around the brows for a few days before wax or lamination. Arrive five minutes early, because your time starts when your artist does.

Three more things to know

  • Timed visits

Every service has its time on the menu. We keep to it so the next client's break is kept too.

  • Changing artists

You can move to another artist at any visit. Her level sets the price, and the booking page shows it before you pay.

  • Tint where allowed

We offer brow tint where state rules allow it, always after a patch test, and your artist will not tint a brow with irritated skin.
